Carol Walsburger Dow, is a proud native of this area. Her academic journey led her to North Carolina State University, where she excelled in her studies, earning a bachelor's degree in Social Work with the distinction of Summa Cum Laude.

Joining the firm in 2008 as an intern, she quickly discovered her passion for family law through the mentorship and guidance of Becky Brown. Upon graduating at the top of her law school class, Carol became an associate attorney in 2010, and was promoted to partner in 2016. She focuses on family law, bringing compassion, expertise, and dedication to each case. As a mother and bonus mom, she understands the intricacies, delicate nature and difficulties that many families experience when facing separation and divorce. She is committed to helping her clients find peaceful resolutions when possible, but is more than ready to zealously defend and advocate for her clients in the courtroom setting.

She previously served as the Guardian ad litem attorney for foster children in Cleveland county for over ten years and now uses that experience and knowledge to advocate for children and families involved with the department of social services.

When not in the courtroom, Carol cherishes the time spent with her husband, family, and friends. She enjoys exploring the great outdoors and traveling to new places.
